I sometimes feel like an 8 year old boy out and about with his Instamatic and then calling up all my friends to say "Come over and see what I just took a picture of". That joy of discovery has remained with me for a long time and I hope to never lose it. I took my first 'good' photograph with a little 1/2 frame point and shoot Olympus camera in 1968 while working on trail crew for the U.S. Forest Service and while photography had to take a lower priortiy over the years due to work commitments it has always been with me.

There are so many people to thank - first of all my sister and brother-in-law and all my family for the constant support and advice and encouragement. My friends - near and far - for honest and often times joyous feedback - you are all loved. And finally all of you that come for a visit to this site.

If you see a photo you wish to purchase please contact me directly about price and size and I am sure we can work something out. However I have had images printed at MPIX - a link on Zenfolio - and the results are really fabulous and the prices are very competitive.

I am honored that you took the time to check out my site and I hope you come back in the future. These are the best of my images and will hopefully change over time. I will still maintain the Blog http://deighlight.wordpress.com -
it so much fun for me.
Namaste

Deigh, enjoyed looking at your work. Your love of the land show in these photos, but then I knew after working with you that you had strong values base on a closness to the land. I particularly enjoyed the panoramas and the high mountain country.
